Over the years of cultivating a community-based writing practice and working with students at varying levels of mastery, I have helped people express themselves through poetry and prose, gain acceptance into coveted academic and professional programs, and work through the writing process. Whether you are staring at a blank page, unsure of how to begin, or have a completed manuscript that needs a fresh set of eyes, my expertise in communications will see you through the process and leave you with a product you can be proud of. We will begin with a 15-minute consultation phone call, where I will get to know you and your project, and discuss compensation, before we dive into the real work. I aim to make these services accessible to all and am open to sliding scale payments, payment plans, and / or bartering and trading

Whether an individual poem or a collection essays or a short story, or anywhere in between, we will work together to distill and refine your ideas. These sessions are tailored to your needs as a writer. This could look like line-by-line edits. big-picture scheming, anything in between, or both / and! I will tune in to your creative goals and provide feedback, reader response, and / or suggestions to further the work based on what you need. If you don’t know what you need, that’s okay too! We can discover that together.
